A Good Climb on a BMW F800GS Ends in Silly Crash

It's terribly funny to see a biker climbing a steep slope in full confidence and never letting the throttle down... and crashing silly at the end. When taking your adventure bike for a spin off the paved roads, knowing how to climb a hard slope is essential if you don't want to become the laughing stock of the gang.
Otherwise you'll end up pushing the bike uphill, which is not pleasant at all, and will slow your mates down, and not to their liking. So keeping the feet up and throttling on is the way to go... until you reach the end of the slope.

It's very wise to figure out how much momentum you and your bike will have by the time you reach the end of the climb. Not having enough speed and inertia equals you stopping just before you end your climb, and most likely it's there where you start pushing, provided you don't fall back and drop the bike.

Having too much throttle as you exist the slope makes you lose control and crash silly, hopefully with no damage to your body and the bike. And making your fellows laugh at you as they'll help you get back on two wheels.
