Introduced at last year’s SEMA Show, the Icon Chevrolet Thriftmaster pickup truck became an instant hit with hot rodders and classic car enthusiasts alike. We’re proud to report we literally fell in love with it!
Based on the classic Chevrolet 3100 truck, which was built between 1947-1955, the Thriftmaster sports a 5.3-liter V8 engine under the hood that can deliver up to 435 horsepower if ordered with a Magnuson supercharger.

The vehicle is no stranger to modern technology, as it comes with four-wheel disc brakes, independent front suspension, navigation and Wi-Fi, while interior highlights include bison leather, Wilton wool carpet and Alcantara headliner.

Pricing starts at $220,000, about as much as a Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG in the United States, which means we won’t get to see too many of these trucks on the streets. However, you can have a better look at Icon’s masterpiece in Roads & Rides’ recent video, which also includes an interview with Jonathan Ward himself.
