A Bling-Bling Grille for a Mercedes

For many people, the grille on their car is probably the most important thing because it's out there for everyone to see. Sure the engine sounds nice and you're the first gets you first off the red light, but without a beautiful grille to complement it, your car is just damn ugly.

That's what STRUT also thinks, a company that's dedicated themselves to pimping grilles like there's no tomorrow. As they themselves put it, they are the “leading designer of handcrafted, triple-chromed grilles, wheels and accessories for the luxury automobile market”.

In this respect, we'd like you to meet the 7-piece Mercedes CL 550 AMG Carbon Fiber Collection. This is made up of stainless steel and woven mesh carbon fiber front grille, lower air intake vent, two fog lamp grilles, two hood vents, a rear trunk spoiler and a trunk shield.

For those of you who are even pickier, there is always the jewelry-grade stainless steel and diamond option. The stainless steel is used for the outer casing and the diamond is used on the woven mesh grille that can also be custom painted.

The added feature to either collection is the 5,7 or 10 spoke design of Icon Wheel Collections made out of aluminum and have a STRUT shield displayed on the center cap. Sizes range from the regular 20-inch to the banging 24-inch model. All of these babies were recently showcased at SEMA.

Prices on the collections range from $7,000 to $9,000 and on the rim options from $9,000 to $13,500 depending on the size.

This looks like a pretty cool kit to have, especially since it's not that widespread and, from the looks of things, it really makes your Mercedes a lot more luxurious. However, for the diamond encrusted grille option we strongly recommend a garage and two to three vicious guard dogs on the premises in order to prevent theft.
