A Bear That Used to Be a Doorman Opens Car's Door, Scares Everyone Inside

This is what happens when hotels need to cut costs and fire some of their employees. A few of them find work at different establishments while others have to settle for more menial jobs, but there are those who simply choose to return to the wild.
After a few years of chewing berries, hibernating, and eating corpses, you'd think that the doorman's reflexes would be a little dull, but you'd be wrong. Just look at this bear jump right back into the action the moment a car pulled next to it.

"Good evening, sir, and welcome to the Ritz. Forgive me for saying so, but judging from your car, you do not look like you can afford to stay here. Are you sure this is the hotel you're looking for? Don't worry if it's not, I can help you find the address since you're going to tip me anyway."

The human, on the other hand, wasn't so happy about the encounter. He was told he was going to see wild bears, when instead all he got was a good scare and a few claw marks on the paint. But that's precisely what you deserve when you try to take pictures of somebody without asking first.

Perhaps the bear was just trying to make sure he looked good in the photo and lacked the verbal skills to ask for it. Or, more likely, maybe his very sensible nose felt there was something to eat in the car that tasted better than berries and corpses - and we're not talking about the passengers, but some snacks they might have brought with them.

The Tesla designers probably did not think of this when they came up with the retractable door handles, but they would have proven very useful in this situation. But, who knows, having worked at the Ritz, it is possible that the bear opened all sorts of car doors, so he might have been familiar with those too. It's best just to lock the doors.
