A 45, CLA 45 and GLA 45 AMG Get 400 hp From Eurocharged

Launched in 2013, the M133 is the first and so far only four-cylinder AMG engine in history, and boy has it already made a name for itself.

Seen by many as the little engine that could, the tiny four-cylinder develops no less than 360 hp (355 bhp) and 450 Nm (332 lb ft) of torque from just two liters of displacement, or a large Coke bottle.

In translation the M133 is the production four-cylinder with the best horsepower per liter in the world, but it seems that those 180 hp per liter are not enough for quite a lot of people out there.

We wouldn't otherwise the increasing number of tuners out there who are already offering or working on power packages for the little engine, with the latest one coming from the folks from Eurocharged.

The plug-and-play ECU tune they are offering for a $999.99 price increases the base power to no less than 401 hp and 535 Nm (395 lb ft) of torque.

The forty-something horsepower increase isn't what you would say spectacular, but keep in mind that it now means that the A 45, CLA 45 and GLA 45 AMG can now have over 200 hp per liter for only a thousand bucks.
