With a little bit of help from a form of forced induction, a Mustang GT can become one hell of a machine, the kind that can give Hellcat owners a headache. And we've brought along an example of this.
The pony we have here has been gifted with a Procharger (think: a belt-driven turbo), which means that its 5.0-liter V8 now delivers around 900 horses. Now, you might want to know how the Blue Oval toy puts all that power down. Well, the thing now uses a pair of Hoosier slicks.
As for its Mopar opponent, we're looking at a Dodge Challenger Hellcat that comes in manual gearbox trim, which doesn't exactly helps when you're engaged in a sprinting battle.
The HEMI wielder also packs aftermarket goodies, albeit with these only involving the stopping power.
Regardless, the two slabs of America didn't follow drag strip procedure, getting together on the street instead. Their adventure kicked off with a standing start battle. And given the muscle difference between them, the Dodge got the hit. And yes, the muscle beasts fought on more than one occasion.
