It may seem like we lost it, but I’m sure the idea of crashing a car for fun has occurred at least once since you passed the driving exam. Of course, they make video games like Grand Theft Auto for these sort of mad plans, and most of us never truly end up doing it. But it was enough for this 90-year-old grandfather from Illinois to directly talk about his unique bucket list wish with his granddaughter to get things done.
After all, don’t they say the family is the place you go to when you need a helping hand? And it was Walter Thomas’ family to take care of his wish the other weekend. “Every time I back out of the garage, I think about backing through the door,” the man told his relatives, according to ABC News.

And it was enough to trigger their eager for proper smash-car action. Sure, everything was nicely planned ahead. The Isuzu MU you see here was, in fact, a borrow from a local auto body shop that was destined for the scrap yard.

As to the garage door, this one too was supposed to be torn apart, considering the garage was going through a renovation project.

Thomas’ grandson took the passenger seat of the car, just to make sure everything was following the plan, and the petrolhead did not fail to make things happen, especially that everybody was there to witness the moment.

“That was easy,” the man said after tearing down the garage door, which clearly shows that destroying something is always simpler than building it from the ground up.
