If you're still reminiscing about the '80s, or even if you were born later but have a thing for that period, you might just find yourself bidding on this truck. It's a 1980 Ford F-250 that has been sitting in storage for 40 years now, with as little as 76 miles (122 km) showing on its odometer. It has been waiting for four decades for an owner to actually drive it around and have it perform the tasks it was designed for.

The F-250 was taken out of storage in October of last year. After a wash, an oil change, and a new battery, it feels almost brand new once again, aside from a few minor scratches. It's part of the 7th generation of the Ford F-Series, and it features a 5.8-liter V8 engine mated to a 3-speed automatic gearbox with a dual-range transfer case. Although this is quite a large engine, it only outputs a "whopping" 136 horsepower, sadly.

But who's going to stop you from starting a restomod project and swapping in something a bit more serious? The car is currently being offered with a clean Wisconsin title, and with just several hours to go before the auction is over, the current bid stands at $39,000. That is just slightly more expensive than a brand new, 2021 F-250 XL, and in the same price range as a better-equipped XLT variant.
