It's enough to look at the base V8 model of the now-mature S550 Mustang family to fall in love with what the final part of the lifecycle has to offer. The latest major tech revamp for the GT, which landed for the 2018MY, has brought an impressive mix between the 460-hp Gen III Coyote and the optional ten-speed auto. Then again, some aficionados overestimate the abilities of such 'Stangs.
For one, the enthusiast behind the wheel of the 2020 Ford Mustang GT we have here had only gifted the 5.0-liter V8 with entry-level mods but still decided to take on a Dodge Charger whose 392ci (6.4-liter) HEMI had been fitted with a Procharger.

YouTuber Can I Be Frank, who brought this adventure to our attention, mentions that the Ford packs custom exhaust headers, as well as a Lund 93-octane tune while sporting the said torque converter tranny.

As for the Mopar machine, the vlogger talks about the centrifugal supercharger pushing the engine to 700 wheel horsepower (that would be over 800 hp at the crank) in the video's comments section.

However, with this sort of muscle extracted from the 392 usually requiring certain supporting mods which haven't been mentioned, we might need to take this output with a grain of salt. Even so, we'll also mention the Charger's smaller rear wheels, which allow the generous-sidewall rear tires to put that power down.

Now, the two lined up for the usual rolling race, and we can't pretend the outcome of their battle was anything but predictable. That said, please steer clear of such street fights and head over to the drag strip for a safe experience.

Nevertheless, the footage shows that a third player decided to join the game, one whose details (or presence) hadn't been mentioned in the video. We're talking about a C7-generation Corvette, which appears to have been successful in its attempt to steal the show.
