The Russians from DragTimesInfo are rather busy posting all the videos they probably shot in the last few weeks on the now famed drag strip in the middle of some woods near Moscow.
As you know if you've been reading this blog long enough, this isn't the first time we've featured one of the drag racing videos, but almost every time we do it there's something peculiar about the quarter mile times which forces us to add a disclaimer to each story.

This time it doesn't seem to be the case, with the 700 horsepower S 65 AMG managing a rather respectable/believable mid-twelve second run, especially if we're not talking into account the appalling over one second reaction time (!?!).

We say respectable because putting all that power down using only the rear tires should really be a handful for the electronic stability program. Especially since the S 65 AMG featured below is tuned to offer 700 hp instead of the “standard” 612 hp, while the already ginormous but electronically-limited 1000 Nm (738 lb ft) of torque might have suffered some modifications as well.

Despite the very slow reaction times, the car manages to completely obliterate a stock Bentley Continental GT V8 with all-wheel drive but gets destroyed in the end by a tuned Nissan GT-R. We're sorry about the spoilers but, as we said before, it's not about who wins and who loses in these races.
