If you’re looking for a car that can tick plenty of superlative boxes, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class is a good pick. From being one of the coolest cars you can find in a showroom to one of the most rugged, this military machine-based civilian ride has plenty of assets to offer.
So when you describe a particular example of the Gelandewagen, say one that’s been customized, it’s hard to nominate it as “the most [insert your adjective here]”. You see, with the massive potential of the G-Class, you can never be sure there isn’t some crazy project out there that’s even more extreme than the one you’re looking at.

However, we’re willing to bet you won’t find a G-Class that’s louder than the one we want to show you in the clip below. This is a G500 Cabriolet, a model that’s gone out of production, that has been tuned by Mansory.

While we reviewed a G500 Cabriolet with a Mansory interior and exterior pack, this one has had its 5.5-liter V8 heavily modified. The engine has gone from 385 hp and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) to 700 hp and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft).

In the process, the V8 has gained serious updates targeting the pistons, connecting rods, bearings, crankshaft, cylinder heads, as well as many other bits and pieces. Among these, we find an exhaust system that’s more extrovert than most.

As a result, this G500 screams like few cars out there and the footage below shows the Cabriolet launching an audio assault on Monaco. Still, the police officer can’t be bothered. Balanced G63 exhaust anybody?
