This tiny supercar is any passionate driver’s wet dream: forget about Lamborghinis, Ferraris or McLarens, if it’s thrills you want, you’ve just found your vehicle.
And don’t think for a moment that’s a quote from Rezvani’s press release. Nope, it’s the naked truth - based only on an educated assumption, that’s true, and some very impressive numbers. The Rezvani Beast is based on an Ariel Atom, and that information alone should give an impression of what this thing is all about.

Well, it used to be about fun, but now power is starting to catch up. Not that the Rezvani was ever a feeble Beast: before this power bump, the car came with 500 hp, which is close to what the Mercedes-AMG GT S boasts about. And that’s a 3,626-pound car (1,645 kg). The Beast? Think half of that and you’d still be 150 pounds (70 kg) off.

It’s safe to say the Rezvani Beast lives up to its name, then. The new version, which gets an X next to its name, gains 200 more horsepower, but its weight is also increased with the same number of pounds. That means the Borg Warner turbochargers, forged pistons and strengthened engine internals raise the power output enough to offset the extra weight, improving Rezvani Beast’s already ludicrous power-to-weight ratio.

Bear in mind the Rezvani Beast (X or not) uses a steel chassis, so there’s still room to cut down on weight should anyone so desire. The body, however, is all carbon fiber.

Giving the Beast more power wasn’t going to make it any more street-friendly, but even though this little monster-machine is aimed at track activity, it is completely street-legal. However, its rear-wheel-drive transmission and six-speed manual gearbox together with the 700 hp are best enjoyed on a racing circuit. Optionally, a sequential automatic gearbox is also available.

The X version of the Rezvani Beast also receives some aesthetic modifications, even though most of them - if not all - were dictated by aerodynamic reasons. There are modified front and rear fascias and a unique side wings profile. But what will catch everyone’s eye is the new, double-split carbon fiber rear wing.

The Rezvani Beast X is going to be an exclusive piece of kit, with only five of them to be custom-built for specific owners. The price for one of these track weapons is $325,000, but that will also grant the owner free access to a series of racetracks around the country.

Rezvani chose the launch of the Beast X to announce their newly created X division that will be in charge of the most extreme, highly-tuned Rezvani vehicles in the future. Expect to see more from them.
