Up until now, twin-turbo kits have largely been left to the Lamborghini Gallardo, since its all-wheel drive systems seem to cope with more power quite well. However, we can tell you that those mechanical diffs won’t save you if you abuse the power.
A twin-turbo Ferrari is just as nice and just as doable, even though the 458 Italia has a reputation for being hard to control. Hennessey Performance, the same guys that make the Venom GT, have taken up the mantle and made a twin-turbo 458 that currently produces 700 horsepower.
Than might not seem impressive when you consider the the 458’s 4.5-liter V8 already has almost 600 horsepower, but that’s at the crank and Hennessey measures theirs at the rear wheels.
Honestly, we don’t know why we’d try to convince you, since all we need to do is to show you these two videos of what the 700 hp Ferrari can do. We have a sneaking suspicion this car is faster than the F12 now…
