700+ HP 2015 Subaru WRX STI Is Quite an Experience, from the Street to the Dyno

Since the 2015 Subaru WRX STI is still fresh out of the oven, the aftermarket world hasn't taken the rally-bred machine to the usual STI level, but this doesn't mean things are kept on a leash. Let's take the car in the video below, for example, which delivers north of 700 ponies.

We're talking about an STI built by Rev Works in Florida, with this all-wheel-drive monster packing quite a punch. The footage allows us to see the Scooby in action, both on the street and on the dyno.

Using the tuner's closed deck engine block and a Precision turbo that can deliver up to 36 psi of boost, this thing allows the driver to control 700 hp and 661 lb-ft (896 Nm). Keep in mind that we are talking about the output at the wheels here.

In fact, here is a complete list of aftermarket gifts fitted to this 2015 STI:
  • Closed deck block (with a compression ratio of 9.8:1)
  • Manley turbo Pistons
  • Manley h tuff plus rods
  • Forged crank
  • Ported and polished heads
  • Gsc valve train 272 cams
  • Injector Dynamics 1700cc
  • Radium auto tank hanger with 2 walbro 450 pumps
  • -8 lines for fuel to -6 lines into fuel injector clinic rails
  • Tgv delete
  • Killer b oil pan
  • Ets front mount kit powder coated
  • Invidia q300 exhaust
  • Precision gen2 6266 turbocharger 36lbs
  • Mishimoto aluminum radiator

The battery has been relocated to the trunk, a space it shares with the electrical side of the dual-pump fuel system - in case you're wondering about the role of the second pump, this enters the stage when the boost level reaches 10 psi.

The tuner installed an oil catch can where the battery used to sit, so lubrication is covered no matter the G forces involved.

Speaking of Gs, we're inviting you to hit the "play" button below and feel the monstrous nature of this Subaru. Friends call it the "Game Over STI."
