After more than 16 Toyota Prii got their tires slashed in Arlington County this summer, the vandalism appears to continue as seven more hybrids have been sprayed over the weekend by some mindless people.
This time it happened in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, and instead of slashed tires, the Prii were painted with swastikas, using blue and gold spray-paint, which coincidence or not they are also the colors of Hannukah.
According to the owners’ reports, the cars were probably vandalized between 6 and 10 a.m. on Sunday and given the 4-5 mile radius of where the various Prii were hit, the suspect or suspects used a vehicle.
However, the police has no evidence leading to a suspect yet. Owners are concerned about their property and some of them proceeded into installing surveillance equipment.
