When the AMG version of the M-Class W166 was launched, it brought some mixed feelings to its fans from some points of view.
The optimists saw the massive power, torque and fuel efficiency advantage of its turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 over the old normally-aspirated 6.2-liter V8, while the nay-sayers only saw the much more restrained looks compared to its W164 predecessor.

One ML 63 AMG owner from Switzerland wanted to patch both camps and made his car into one of the most brutal M-Class models out there.

First, he decided that the stock M157 V8 could do with a little more power, so he went for an ECU upgrade, engine oil cooling, more free-flowing mid pipes and center exhaust by Vaeth and a Brabus electronically-controlled valve exhaust.

The result is a rather impressive 680 hp and 950 Nm (701 lb ft) of torque, more than enough for a new, much more sinister look for the car.

Design-wise, he went for a RevoZport front splitter from carbon fiber, the same material from which the new ultra-wide fenders and interior inserts from Vaeth are made.

The entire tuning package was completed with the addition of a set of HRE TR45 wheels shoed in 315/30 R22 Vredestein Ultrac tires.

Even though the car has been completely transformed from looking like a sad puppy into a Rottweiler that wants to bite your head off, its owners wants to upgrade it even more with the adition of a carbon-ceramic braking system from Movit and an IHI twin-turbocharging system plus ECU from Vaeth.

This would make it an 800 hp and 1050 Nm (774 lb ft) of torque (limited because the drivetrain can't handle much more) monster.

Thanks to Henri for the car's specs and photos!
