670 HP Edo Competition Porsche 911 Turbo S with GT3 RS Hood For Sale at $259,000

Since the 991.2 generation of the Porsche 911 is approaching retirement time, Zuffenhausen is introducing one special model after another. However, the arrival of the GT3 (Touring Package), GT2 RS and Carrera T means that otherwise special derivatives such as the Turbo S receive less attention than they used to.

However, since we enjoy the entire Neunelfer lineup, we constaly look for ways to bring the Turbo S to your attention. Case in point with the rear-engined delight we're here to show you today, which has quite a special status.

That's because the 991.2 Turbo S has been massaged by Edo Competition. Edo Karabegovic, the owner of the German specialist, has always had a special place in his heart for Zuffenhausen machines.

As such, this Neunelfer has received quite a special mix of goodies. The Aqua Metalic PTS (Paint To Sample) shade of the 911 allows you to spot it from the distance, but the bits underneath the surfaces are the ones that matter.

For instance, the Turbo S comes with the carbon fiber hood of the GT3 RS, a lightweight battery, as well as a sports spring set and a sports exhaust system.

As for the twin-turbo 3.8-liter flat-six occupying the posterior of the supercar, this has jumped to 670 hp and 850 Nm. As such, the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes place in 2.7 seconds, while the 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) sprint requires 8.6 seconds. When it comes to the maximum velocity of the thing, this sits at over 350 km/h (217 mph).

The aftermarket developer explains that the mods fitted to the car are worth €30,000.  Speaking of financial matters, the supercar you're looking at here is currently for sale, being offered for a price of €220,000 ($258,800).

So, if you're okay with a used machine (the mileage is low, sitting at 10,500 km or 6,521 miles), you might want to take this Poscha into consideration.
