666 RWHP Supercharged 2015 Mustang Is Evil, Not Bad at All

With the 2016 Camaro stealing the Mustang's show crown these days, we're here to show you one S550 'Stang that deserves our undivided attention.

This 2015 model started out in life as a Mustang GT California Special, but its owner, who happens to be part of the Advance One Wheels team, decided the stock setup just wasn't enough.

As a result, this pony was taken down the supercharging route. The aim here was to have a car that could be used as a daily driver, so rather than attempting to break quarter mile records, the project was built around the drivability concept.

Thanks to a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger, the Coyote V8 under the hood now delivers 666 hp (yes, the devilish, perhaps Hellcat-teasing pun was intended) and 510 lb-ft (691 Nm) of torque. Keep in mind that these are the values at the wheels, which means that, in the horsepower language everybody uses, this Mustang probably delivers north of 750 ponies.

Here is the full list of aftermarket goodies this Blue Oval machine was gifted with:

  • 2.9L Whipple Supercharger
  • 132mm Billet Throttle Body
  • 72# Injectors w/ Whipple Fuel Rails
  • 3.75" Pulley
  • Whipple Tune
  • Corsa Extreme Cat Back with Black PVD Tips
  • BC Racing NA - Custom Coilovers
  • APR Performance Carbon Fiber Splitter

Given the ADV.1 connection, the factory wheels were ditched in favor of ADV005 MV2 CS rims, which comes in a 20x11.5-inch size at the back and in a 20x10-inch size up front. These are shod in Nitto NT05 rubber, sized 275/35 R20 at the front and 315/35 R20 for the rear.

However, as you'll be able to see in the footage below, those tires might not last too long. Guess some people just can't wait for Ford Performance to give us the new GT500...
