In order to get more power out of the E60 M5 you had only one simple thing to do: get a supercharger! It was as easy as that. You bought and installed a supercharger and the 5-liter V10 would go absolutely berserk with tons of torque and HP.
Today, the M5 has a twin-turbo engine and things aren’t that easy anymore. Sure, you can get some power by remapping the ECU but how much exactly? The guys from European Auto Source found out during one of their builds.

The man who sought them out wanted just a tad more power with as little expense as possible. Therefore, they went for a full Akrapovic Evolution Titanium exhaust, new catless downpipes and a Switzer P700 plug&play performance .

To test things out they put the car on the dyno and the results were... impressive. 633 HP and 587 lb-ft (796 Nm) of torque at the wheels, a drastic improvement over the stock numbers, plenty to cope with anything the owner might throw at it.
