555 HP 2010 Mercedes Benz E63 AMG by Brabus

German tuner Brabus revealed its B63 S engine tuning for the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG at the Essen Motor Show this weekend. The conversion kit now lifts the power of both sedan and wagon versions up to 555 hp (408 kW) and their top speed to 320 km/h (200 mph).

Along with the upgraded performance, Brabus is also offering a sporty aerodynamic enhancements, custom 20-inch wheels, as well as custom interior options.

The engine tweaks for the 6.3-liter V8 consists of two sport air filters, free-flow metal catalysts and newly programmed engine electronics. This conversion kit boosts the standard 525 hp power output (517 bhp) / 386 kW by 30 hp (30 bhp) / 22 kW. Moreover, the maximum torque output also increases from 630 to 650 Nm (464 to 479 lb-ft) at 5,400 rpm.

Thanks to these performance upgrades, sprint time from naught to sixty is now 4.3 seconds, while the top speed jumps to up to 320 km/h (200 mph), “depending on the speed rating of the selected tire/wheel combination,” as Brabus says.

Speaking of the tire/wheel combinations, the largest homologated version offered by Brabus features Monoblock VI, E, Q or S wheels in size 9Jx20 on the front axle and in sizes 9.5Jx20 or 10.5Jx20 in back. They are fitted with Pirelli or YOKOHAMA high-performance tires in size 245/30 ZR 20 in front and up to size 295/25 ZR 20 on the rear axle.

As for the inside features, the accessories range from stainless-steel scuff plates with illuminated BRABUS logo to a speedometer with 360-km/h (225-mph) dial. The interiors are created from a combination of custom-made Mastik leather and Alcantara with precious-wood and carbon-fiber inlays.
