It's not everyday that we find two car-modifying companies getting together in tuning projects and the following car is certainly not one that's part of the norm.
Created by pooling together the resources and talent of the vinyl wrap specialists at FolienCenter-NRW and the tuners from SR-Performance, this Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Wagon pre-facelift wolf has ditched its sheep clothing and got itself some Goldmember skin.
With the help of air filter inserts from BMC, a set of Milltek racing catalytic converters with pre-catalytic converter replacement pipe and a reprogramming of the ECU, SR-Performance managed to upgrade the M156 engine to develop 540 hp instead of the standard 457 hp, while the torque has been increased from 600 Nm (443 lb ft) to the “neighbor of the number of the beast” 665 Nm (490 lb ft).
Along with a Bilstein B16 PSS 10 coilover kit and a set of awesome-looking BBS CH-R light-alloy wheels, this C 63 AMG Wagon means a bit more business than usual.
The car wrappers from FolienCenter-NRW completed the estate transformation with an exclusive “Matt Bond Gold Metallic” vinyl wrap from the PWF portfolio. The result, as you can see, makes this C 63 AMG Wagon a much better proposition than a prairie schooner in search of gold in the old Wild West.
