50 Cent Admits He Doesn’t Own His Expensive Cars and Jewels

50 cents is about 40 cents more than what the famous rapper claims he gets on each sold record. Curtis Jackson on his real name also doesn’t make that much money out of the other business ventures either. And when it comes to his lavish lifestyle, most of it is faked, with a lot of his hundred-thousand-dollar cars, in fact, being rented. All these he said in court the other day after the jury ordered the rapper-actor to pay $5 million in a sex tape scandal.

So here’s what we know. 50 Cent aka a rap mogul who most of the artists out there know as one of the richest in the game turns out to be quite broke. Well, not poor poor, only about $5 million worth poor. The problem is he owes a lot more in debts, which is why he filed for bankruptcy. Meanwhile (on Friday to be more precise) a jury ordered the rapper to pay $5 million to a woman who said he acquired a video she made with he boyfriend.

Apparently, the woman is Rick Ross’ ex-girlfriend, and Jackson made it public because of their constant rivalry. The jury’s decision is what made 50 Cent’s lawyer detail the artist’s fortune, or better put the lack of wealth.

Things get even worse since Forbes estimated the rapper’s fortune to be about $155 million in May while his lawyer said his client’s worth is $4.4 million on Tuesday. Why do we care, though?

They are full of it

We care quite a lot because we finally have a public example that proofs some rappers out there are full of it.

We can’t but recall the day when 50 Cent would brag on Instagram that he could buy 100 Rolls-Royce if he wished so. Well, according to his own testimony, quoted by the New York Daily News, his claims about having a fleet of luxury cars on both coasts, loads of bling, and even making a $1.6 million bet on boxer Floyd Mayweather are all bogus.

Apparently, he bought one Rolls-Royce by trading in two other cars, including his Lamborghini, while other fancy rides like his Bentley and his Ferrari are all rented. How about that for a gangsta lifestyle?
