€40K Toyota Supra Can Put Any Supercar to Shame

The LaFerrari and the McLaren P1, two vehicles regarded as the ultimate supercars, created quite a stir at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Packing more than 800 HP each, both hybrids command huge price tags that have made them impossible to acquire by the regular hard-working enthusiast.

However, our latest discovery is here to show everyone that you don’t need a Ferrari or a Lamborghini to be able to put a huge amount of power hammer down. The vehicle you just saw pictured above is a familiar fourth-generation Toyota Supra found on sale in the Netherlands. But it’s not just any Mark IV Supra, because this one packs 1,000 horse power.

Powered by a 3.4-liter HKS turbo engine paired to a manual gearbox, the red beast suffered extended performance-providing modifications and wears a price tag of only €39,950 ($51,659). The stock vehicle was assembled back in 1994, and the owner claims it has 45,000 kilometers (27,961 miles) on its odometer.
