The latest generation of the Mercedes-Benz Actros is starting to make a name for itself as both a technologically advanced truck but more importantly as one of the most fuel efficient and environmentally-friendly trucks in the world.
Mercedes-Benz Trucks just received one of the largest single orders in history for the Actros, with a Spanish forwarding company requesting no less than 400 vehicles from the Germans.

The ordered models are intended to modernize the fleet of the Primafrio company, which will now almost double its total number of trucks.

“Economy plays a crucial role for us as a logistics company. We have tested the Mercedes-Benz Actros successfully in our fleet. Decisive factors which persuaded us to opt for the Actros were the excellent fuel economy and the customer-oriented after-sales service.” said Jose Esteban Conesa, owner of the Primafrio transportation company.

The first ten Actros models were handed over at the Mercedes-Benz Trucks factory in Wörth, while the rest of the vehicles will be delivered until January 2014.
