About a month ago, Caterham announced that the first 40 customers that purchase a lightweight Seven sportscar starting May 9 will receive a free “40 Years of Caterham” limited edition pack which includes several optional features.
Today, the British company revealed that the special pack, which included ruby red paint with bespoke bonnet stripes, hand-tailored leather seats/dashboard, a custom made aluminum key and new 15-inch alloy wheels, has sold out in less than a month. Already in production, the Caterham Sevens fitted with the 40th Anniversary limited edition pack will be delivered to its customers in July.
Caterham also announced that new customers will receive a specially-designed Draper Tools toolkit worth over £800 free of charge at the purchase of any Seven model except the Academy car. 2014 UK Caterham prices start from £19,995 for the entry-level Roadsport version and go as high as £42,495 for the range-topping Superlight R500.
