The recently-introduced generation of the BMW 5 Series is becoming one of the favorite toys for tuning companies around the world, with the latest modification kit for the car coming from the U.S.

WheelSTO, the American representative of the Japanese tuner 3D Design, has just released a modification package for the BMW 5 Series F10, with the kit offering discreet styling changes, as well as a new exhaust system.

The kit doesn’t offer a radical transformation for the vehicle, but rather comes to emphasize its stock design, offering it a bit of extra spice.

The aerodynamic enhancements include a front lip add-on element (this is attached to the front bumper), a rear diffuser mounted on the stock rear bumper, a trunk lip spoiler and a roof spoiler. All the parts are made from Polyurethane, with the exception of the rear diffuser, which uses carbon fiber.

The 5 Series now rides in 3D Design Type III forged rims. This come in a 20 inch size and offer a lightweight construction that reduces unsprung weight, improving both ride comfort and overall driving performance.

As we mentioned, the tuning house has also fitted the vehicle with a custom exhaust system. This offers a distinct sound to the vehicle, adding to the sporty feeling of the entire package. In addition to that, the exhaust allows the engine to “breathe” more freely, thus adding a few extra hp. It also has an aesthetic function, as it uses quadruple tips that fit perfectly into the rear bumper.
