3,800 HP C6 Corvette Shows Supercharged Hemi Muscle in Qatar

It's no surprise that car aficionados over in Qatar have a thing for US muscle. But that's one thing, and finding a horsepower treasure in the country is another matter altogether. Let's take the 3,800 hp Corvette in the video below, for instance.

This is just one of the cars run by Al Anabi Motors, a racing team that also uses American mechanics, as we've previously shown you. As we said, though, we want to focus on this extreme C6 'Vette for now.

We're talking about one of those blasphemous builds that sees breeds being crossed, which, in this case, means the muscle comes from a Hemi.

The nose of the machine, which has grown faster that Pinocchio's one, is occupied by a 521 ci V8 that works with a massive blower to deliver its punch. The powerplant is mated to a two-speed transmission, as we're talking about a contraption that mainly targets eight-mile battles.

When it comes to this Corvette's relationship to the scales, the story is simple - as required by the rule book, the car, together with the driver, can't be lighter than 3,000 lbs. As for the body of this Corvette, while the front end is custom, as mentioned above, the rest of the panel are those that came from the factory.

While we did mention this Corvette being a stunning 1/8-mile performer, you should know the once-a-Chevy isn't scared of quarter mile sprints either.

When it comes to the kind of times this extreme supercharged speed demon can deliver, we'll leave the piece of footage below show you the potential of the racecar. Aside from the visual experience, you should be prepared for a delicious sample of what Hemi goodies can deliver, so we're inviting you to turn up the volume for this one.
