As expected, tuners take full advantage of this power boom, turning the factory performance-packed hatches into true beasts.
Now, we are going to present a tuning company that decided to take the game to a new level. We are talking about Dbilas Dynamic, which has chosen to offer no less than 320 hp to a... sub-compact. The German tuner has gifted the Opel Corsa OPC with the aforementioned level of power, also fitting the vehicle with other technical and aesthetic modifications. We’ll remind you that the vehicle’s 1.6 liter engine produces 192 hp when it leaves the Opel factory.
The vehicle’s 1.6 liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit has been fitted with a new turbocharger, a larger intercooler, a 70 mm intake pipe, a custom manifold and high flow exhaust system, a new air filter and an ECU remap.
The engine only has to move 1,100 kg (2,425 lbs), so the performance offered is impressive. We are talking about covering the 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) sprint in 5.1 seconds and offering a top speed of 164 mph (264 km/h).
The vehicle was fitted with a set of Eibach springs in order to handle the extra power. The springs bring it closer to the road by 200 mm. The car rides on 19 inch Azev alloy rims that use 215/35 Hankook tires.
Owners who plan to boost their Corsa using this package (the kit is also suitable for the GSi version of the car) should be prepared to spend EUR5,000 ($6,900).
