When it's about racing, every gram counts, as the lighter the bike, the faster it will accelerate. Motorcycle racing rims have already gone a long way form the early steel models and passing through aluminium and magnesium, they've now entered the carbon-fiber era.
The Dymag Carbon Race 5 Spoke (CA5) wheels are the pinnacle of the manufacturer's 30 years experience, and they come with the promise of improved handling and increased performance.
The CA5 are available in a massive choice of sizes and can be retrofitted on both double and single-sided swingarms for most modern American, European and Japanese bikes. With a 300 HP power limit, these wheels are suitable for pro racing and street bikes, but will not comply with the drag machines.
JWL, DOT and BS AU50 testing and certifications make sure the Dymag CA5 wheels are up to safety standards. The rims are truly lightweight: for example, the Ducati ones come at 2.2kg (4.85 lbs) for the front, and 2.9kg (6.39 lbs) for the rear.
You can get 3.5" x 17", 3.75" x 17" and 3.50 x 16.5" on Special Order for the front, and 5.5" x 17", 6.0" x 17" and 6.25" x 16.5" (Special Order ) for the rear.
