Meet The Dirty Bird, a purpose built drag racing 1968 Ford Falcon that can easily run an eighth of a mile in 4.7 seconds, toping out at an impressive 255 km/h (159 mph) when crossing the finnish line.
When it comes to drag racing, nitromethane dragsters are the fastest accelerating vehicles ever made, easily outrunning a jet fighter launched from a sea-carrier.

While the case does not apply in this video, the drag racing Falcon is pretty impressive. It’s been stripped out of every unnecessary trim and bits to make it light, it has a full roll-cage and the whole one-piece front end is made out fiber glass.

Power comes from a 7.3-liter (449 ci) Small Block Ford engine, which boast an incredible 2600 hp aided by two 88mm turbochargers.

Watch the Dirty Bird tearing up the track at North Star Dragway in the video bellow.
