$25 Spent for a Good Deed Could Also Land a Special Cunningham C8 Chevy Corvette

Time and again, we have seen “America’s sports car” act not just as a catalyst for legendary action on the street or around racetracks but also for raising awareness towards important causes. Here’s another example involving the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation as well as a limited-edition 60th Anniversary Cunningham C8 ‘Vette.

Because there’s a lot to take in just one sweep, let’s get started by breaking down the main attractions of this draw. The special series C8 Corvette we’re discussing here is a modern ode to the class racer that Briggs Swift Cunningham (an American racing legend and Le Mans star) used to win the world-famous race back in 1960.

The limited 60th Anniversary C8 Corvette became available for reservation late last year, and just 60 examples will be produced once the upgrade process is complete. It’s a major one and befitting of the $139,995 asking price, headlined by the 600-hp engine upgrade currently undergoing research by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering.

That’s not all, because the celebratory ‘Vette comes with additional modifications courtesy of Lingenfelter. Those include a high flow carbon fiber intake manifold, Corsa headers/exhaust/airbox tune, a set of bespoke 20- front and 21-inch rear HRE forged aluminum wheels, as well as Cunningham/MOV’IT performance brakes.

Meanwhile, the aero kit was created by Peter Stevens Design, and every example will be produced based on the well-appointed Z51 performance package-equipped models in 3LT guise starting with the second quarter of the year.

As for Chip Miller, he was an avid Corvette collector and became famous for co-partnering in creating one of the most famous events related to the model, Corvettes at Carlisle. Unfortunately, due to complications related to a little-known disease called Amyloidosis, he lost his life back in 2004.

The Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation is trying to raise money for research and awareness with help from Cunningham by offering the 60th Anniversary C8 Corvette number 33 for their upcoming sweepstakes set to close on October 1st, 2021.

Basically, donating as little as $25 (but one can also incrementally go up to $2,500) will both help the cause and net the chance to landing onto your driveway this spectacular white and blue limited edition C8 Chevrolet Corvette. Sweet, right?
