Honda TT Legends rider Michael Dunlop took his first-ever Superbike TT victory at the Mountain Course, in the world-famous Isle of Man.
It looks like the Dunlops are bound to tie the name of their family with the Mountain Course forever, as Michael is the third generation of men who get to master this amazingly tough and dangerous track.

Michael Dunlop's victory has even more to it as it marks 30 years since his famous uncle, Joey Dunlop won his first TT race in the Isle of man, back in 1983.

Legendary John McGuinness also decided to honor Honda's longest standing factory rider, as he rode at the Mountain Course on a Joes Dunlop/ Honda Britain-themed bike and wearing red leathers evoking Joey's livery in his last race in 2000. A well-kept secret, it was with much delight people learned about McPint's livery only as he emerged from his tent alongside his machine.

A gala dinner was also held, with the participation of Joey's former team-mates Ron Haslam, Roger Marshall, Roger Burnett, Carl Fogarty, Phillip McCallen, Michael Rutter and John McGuinness, as well as his wife Linda Dunlop and nephews Michael and William Dunlop.

And to make things even more glorious, we have to add that the Superbike Race was an all-Honda affair, with McGuinness and Guy Martin in the second and third positions.
