Porsche is preparing a facelift for the 911 GT3, which is set to be launched in 2023 as an MY2024 vehicle. Our spy photographers have gotten a first glimpse of the prototype, which marks the first sighting of the 2024 Porsche 911 GT3 facelift.
The vehicle was spotted both on the Nürburgring and on other roads in Germany. Do not be fooled by the clever disguise of the prototype, which uses the front of the current GT3, but has a camouflaged rear. The latter is one of the elements set to change with the facelift.

Future prototypes will eventually move to a new shape for the front end, but this early one is still using the face of the ongoing car. The 992.2 911 GT3 will continue to have the only naturally aspirated motor in the range, as far as we know, and it will focus on its handling characteristics.

When compared to an ongoing model, it is easy to notice that the rear of the vehicle has a diffuser that is covered all-round the exhaust, which is a change from what can be seen today on the GT3. Moreover, the reflector element in the rear bumper, as well as the air intake, sit higher than they do on the current model.

On the inside, the dashboard is about to be updated, possibly with all the bells and whistles of the 911 facelift. The gauge cluster is set to be changed, and the same might be said about the dashboard, along with other elements in the cockpit. That is all we know for now, as the entire interior is covered in one way or another.

Expect to see the facelifted Porsche 911 GT3 in mid or late 2023, but the ongoing model will soldier on until then. One thing is sure, the people who will get one will enjoy it regardless of the fact if they get the facelift or not.
