The S-Class, a symbol of the German automotive industry and luxury cars as a whole, is about to enter a new generation. The 2021 model has gone through an arduous testing process and just leaked out onto the web. To say that we're excited is an understatement.
A handful of photos have leaked onto the web through numerous sources. They show the W223 S-Class from all angles, both inside and out. So you can say that it's been revealed ahead of the actual reveal.

Based on the state of the prototype, which wears just slithers of camouflage, we believe these photos might have been taken in China. Other factors contribute to our assumption, though they are difficult to express. However, there's nothing to suggest the American or European models would differ in any way (cosmetically).

Mercedes is probably already taking steps to limit the leak. The all-new S-Class launch event is probably nowhere near ready, but to be fair, we already had a pretty good idea of what to expect, both inside and out. We've been carefully studying the model throughout its development, and the camo had begun to come off on the prototypes in Stuttgart.

However, it is refreshing to see the new dashboard and center console, which most believe will reset the benchmark in the luxury class. Taking small cues from Tesla, the flagship Mercedes model is the first to have a giant infotainment screen with a square ratio and laptop-like size. You've got even more screens in the back, though they're probably extras.

The other screen, the one in front of the driver, is similar to the old S-Class but sits completely separate from the dashboard. The air vents are also fresh, and while the no-buttons design will have a steep learning curve, we fell like the minimalist look is relaxing enough to compensate.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
