Fully blacked out exteriors are so yesterday at Lexus. While the lengthy name containing the word black might suggest otherwise, the company is not including with this limited edition the choice to go all-out black. Instead, they are offering to U.S. customers a series of contrasting black details and an exclusive new exterior shade that should entice anyone to book an extended vacation.
The 2021 Lexus NX F Sport Black Line is being produced during the following three months (what do you know, exactly for the summer period) and is available at dealerships with a suggested MSRP of $46,810. Better hurry, though, as the automaker is only manufacturing 1,000 units.

But first let us find out if the special series is worth the upgrades or not. First off, the 2021 NX 300h F Sport Black Line’s most obvious novelty comes in the form of the all-new Grecian Water exterior paint coat. It is clearly an overt invitation to a lengthy vacation somewhere sunny but also a reference to the carmaker’s hybrid powertrains.

Remember, Lexus says this is the first-time clients can associate the electrified choice with the F Sport model. In case blue is not your cup of tea Lexus offers an additional choice of two colors - Ultra White and Obsidian, but these are typically available with a price markup. Regardless of shading preferences, the NX also comes with 18-inch “dark sputter finish” alloys along with black side mirrors.

The interior features lots of blue stitching – including the black NuLuxe-trimmed seats, door panels, armrest, and center console. Standard fixtures include the standard Lexus Safety System+ 2.0 (a hair below the 2021 IS with its new Lexus Teammate) as well as other options such as the Park Assist and Power Rear Door with Kick Sensor systems.

The company has also teamed up with Zero Halliburton for an exclusive series – the Edge Lightweight Collection. It is made up of a couple of travel cases – the Edge Lightweight 22-inch Continental Carry-on and a 26-inch Medium Travel Case. And figure this – unlike the car, both are entirely black.
