2021 Cirrus 620 Camper Is Ready to Cram Freedom Back Into Our Lives

What we see here, folks, is nothing other than the newest camper to hit the market on December 19, 2020. It’s called the Cirrus 620, and nuCamp Rv will bring it just in time for Christmas. But you’d better have been ultra-mega nice this year, as this puppy is not cheap. How much it’ll run you for sure, we don’t know, as the team at nuCamp only sells these directly to dealerships. So no cutting out the middleman here.

Now, with the way things have been going this year, it seems that a truck camper like this is just what everyone is waiting for. After all, how much can you stay cooped up in the same neighborhood day after day? Yeah, thought so.

It seems that even the team at nuCamp feels the same way because the 620 is specially designed for the ½ ton truck owner. The standard package fits nicely in the bed of your truck with an overhead sleeper, all at under 1500 lbs (680 kg) dry weight.

So what do we receive when we look to get the hell out of dodge this year or early next year? Well, the unit comes in with an overall length of 12-feet 8-inches (3.86 meters) with the sleeper included. A width of 8-feet 2-inches (2.48 meters and equal height offer an impressive interior space to unleash your escape from the urban jungle.

When first stepping into the 620, we find ourselves suddenly surrounded with all the amenities typically found in your own home. To the right we find a kitchenette ready with a two-burner stovetop and kitchen sink - all made from lightweight stainless steel. Oh, and let’s not forget the fridge. The interior wall also includes quaint little spaces for utensils and spices, while to the left of the door we see just a plain seat. Upon further inspection, we realize the toilette is hidden underneath it.

Straight ahead, our vision settles on the dining area. Here we have a bench that lines the left wall of the camper, a table for two, maybe three folks, and another seating area on the right completing the space already occupied by the kitchenette. One neat trick about this area, aside from the never-too-much storage space we see overhead and underneath the seating, is its ability to transform into another sleeping area. Just lower the table, turn a cushion, and here you are sleeping with the grizzlies.

As for the main sleeping cabin, the overhead section includes a mattress for two with storage space to the left and right, with the space between the windows being perfect for anything from sleeping to reading, and any other show-stopping activities you can think of. After all, it gets cold in the wild.

But it actually won’t get that cold for you. Due to its innovative design and construction, the 620 is equipped with every modern feature, from solar kits to heat and hot water units, backup camera, Bluetooth speakers, and even Rieco Titan electric jacks with remote control.
