Today is the second day of the 2020 Tokyo Auto Salon and, as it has been the case with last year's SEMA show, the Japanese venue is assaulted by 2020 Toyota Supra builds. But let's say you can't reach the event - what can you do for the said part of the aftermarket community?
Digital artist Khyzyl Saleem has come up with a brilliant answer to the question in the intro above. You see, the pixel master set out to create a rendering that takes the Mk V Supra deep down the aftermarket path.
Not only did the virtual builder played with the sportscar, but he also created the background surrounding the machine. And, before we zoom in on the details of the pixel work, let's take a bit of time to see how the artist describes his effort.
"I'm not at TAS this year, so I'm making renders using my full 3D scene in Japan and pretending I am," Khyzyl explains in the description of the Instagram post that showcases the modded Supra.
Perhaps the best part of this custom Supra is the overall style, which can be labeled as OEM+ (think: this follows the factory styling cues of the sportscar). As such, the rear fascia of the vehicle has remained mostly stock.
Nevertheless, we can't say the same about the monstrous fenders of the toy, while these are filled by custom wheels featuring fat lips - those lips barely clear the arches, with the machine also packing an air suspension that allows the driver to drop the car to the ground at the touch of a button. Oh, and let's not forget the rear wing of the 2020 Supra, which is beautifully integrated into the rest of the vehicle.
