After starring alongside Chris Hemsworth in Men In Black: International, the Rezvani Tank is getting even more ludicrous for the 2020 model year. The so-called XUV for Xtreme Utility Vehicle will premiere on August 16th at the Monterey Car Week, packing a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 for the princely price of $155,000.
“Wait, so you’re telling me a 285-horsepower Jeep Wrangler with different bodywork and a nicer interior is how much?” Rezvani doesn’t stop there, oh no! A 6.4-liter HEMI is also available, along with the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine that FCA brought back in the Ram 1500 pickup truck. Customers who want the utmost best are treated to the 6.2-liter Hellcat, an engine that develops no fewer than 1,000 horsepower and 870 pound-feet (1,180 Nm) of torque in this application.

“Now that’s more like it! So how much?” Pricing for the Tank Military Edition starts at $295,000, but the top-of-the-line version is $349,000. The Tank X is the most desirable of the breed, no doubt about it, but don’t forget that Rezvani Automotive Designs can go beyond thanks to a whole lot of customization options.

Based in Irvine, California, the five-year-old company is also known for the Beast supercar built upon the Ariel Atom lightweight sports car. Based on the Valjoux 7750 mechanical chronograph, Rezvani has also offered a series of 100 timepieces because why not? Turning out attention back to the 2020 Tank, the over-the-top utility vehicle is available with EMP protection for an extra $2,500.

That’s right! This fellow here is ready to face a nuclear war, and that sounds extremely appealing to doomsday preppers with deep pockets. From an aesthetic standpoint, the biggest change is the switch to proper handles for the front-hinged rear doors. Customer deliveries are scheduled for the following weeks, and Rezvani is much obliged to build the Tank in right-hand for an additional fee.

“The focus of the new generation Tank was to be athletic in design and stance, have a refined ride and suspension, a luxurious interior, and surpass 1,000 horsepower, all in a vehicle that’s bulletproof and easily a daily driver,”
said CEO Ferris Rezvani. We’re not sure about dailying such a behemoth, but then again, people buying this type of vehicle don’t have the word “normal” in their lexicon.
