The Velar is the most beautiful car in the world according to the 2018 World Car Awards jury, and to this effect, does it come as a surprise that Land Rover will infuse the Evoque with some of that bite-the-back-of-your-hand beautiful exterior styling? We knew that would happen ever since we got a glimpse of the pre-production prototype, now the British automaker is teasing the real deal through an art installation that consists of wire form sculptures.
But first, what does the Evoque represent for the luxury division of Land Rover? In a nutshell, it is the most important mode in the lineup. More than 750,000 examples have been sold since 2011, and during this period, the Evoque received more than 225 awards. Even though the three-door coupe has been discontinued, the five-door body style and convertible will soldier on for the second generation.

Land Rover has started the countdown to the world premiere of the all-new Range Rover Evoque with the sculptures you can admire in the photo gallery, set for 19:45 GMT on November 22nd. The EXIF information of these photographs reveals that the photographer used the Canon EOS-1D X Mark II to shoot the sculptures and Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 for editing.

Better still, Land Rover named each file with the model year of the Range Rover Evoque, confirming that the newcomer will arrive at dealerships for the 2020 model year. The Tata-owned automaker has also confirmed that the order books for the compact premium crossover utility vehicle will open on the same day as the reveal in London, leading us to believe that the Evoque will receive some sort of First Edition.

In addition to the full-scale sculptures and the information presented in the previous paragraphs, Land Rover didn’t go into further detail about the Evoque. What we do know is that the second generation will ride on the Premium Transverse Architecture (PTA), designed to accommodate 48-volt mild hybridization. From 2020 onwards, each and every single Jaguar Land Rover vehicle will be electrified one way or another.
