With the brand new Gladiator pickup already on the roads, the number of aftermarket parts designed specifically for it steadily increases. This week, for instance, one of the largest producers of such parts, MagnaFlow, announced the availability of new exhaust systems for the car.
There are in all three different options designed for the new star in the Jeep lineup, two of them cat-backs of the Street Series and the third a Rock Crawler.

The Street Series exhausts have been designed, says the company, to “provide a balance of a comfortable interior note […] and deep performance sound outside.”

The Rock Crawler on the other hand is more targeted, having been created to sit high and allow the installation of other gear required for off-roading, such as suspension upgrades or under chassis support.

All three MagnaFlow exhaust systems are already available for order, with prices starting at $516.66 for the cat-backs.

The Jeep Gladiator was detailed by the carmaker in the last month of 2018 as a continuation of sort of the 1960s Gladiator based on the SJ Wagoneer.

Launched at a time when pickups are America’s favorite cars, the Gladiator sells starting from $33,545 with only one engine choice: a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that develops 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque when paired with the standard six-speed manual transmission.

In 2020, a second engine will join the range, a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V8 that is expected to develop 260 horsepower and 442 lb.-ft. of torque.

Four trim configurations are available for the model, Sport, Sport S, Overland and Rubicon.

Being an off-road oriented pickup, the Gladiator uses Command-Trac and Rock-Trac 4x4 systems, Dana 44 axles, Tru-Lock electric front- and rear-axle lockers, Trac-Lok limited-slip differential, electronic sway-bar disconnect, and 33-inch off-road tires.

Additionally, a wealth of Mopar parts has been created for the nameplate, ranging from roof racks to wheels and bumpers.
