When Porsche engineers honed the 911 GT3 RS, they had many priorities. And since the Rennsport incarnation of the Neunelfer is a track attack weapon, drifting wasn't necessarily one of them.
Nevertheless, with sliding currently being more popular than ever, there are plenty of Neunelfer owners who drift the hell out of their machines. Of course, this means that pulling such stunts might not bring you all that much attention on social media, so performers are ready to go the extra mile in order to get those stats up.

Well, the driver of the 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS we have here might have gone a bit too far, with the man deciding to drift his precision tool into a pile of sand.

The man starts drifting the rear-engined animal in an area where both asphalt and sand are found and it doesn't seem like he cares.

You see, the problem with such shenanigans is that while they might look cool, the cars get washed and fixed when needed, but it's not like such behavior doesn't take a toll on them. So when aficionados end up purchasing such used rides, they have to pay for other's behavior.

Speaking of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and looking into the future, we'll remind you we already discussed the 992 incarnation of the monster. And that's because we brought you a rendering of the circuit-savvy edition, which mixes elements from the 992 with those of the current 3RS.

Nevertheless, it's still too early to talk about the Rennsport version. For one thing, we'll have to meet the standard GT3 first, if we might call it so.

Fortunately, as the soundtrack of various prototypes has shown, the new GT3 will maintain the naturally aspirated power of the current car, as well as the optional manual gearbox. And the 992 GT3 could land as early as the final part of next year.
