As soon as this year ends, the new generation Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan will be available in showrooms across Europe, the Germans announced on Monday.
Even if there’s still some time left until those interested will actually get it, customers can already order their new ride as of this September. Mercedes also announced the prices for the model it hopes will bring more customers to the brand.

In all, there will be six versions of the A-Class sedan available, depending on the engine and transmission configuration, starting with the A200 as an entry levels and ending with the top of the range A 250 4MATIC.

The entry level will sell from 30,916 euros with a six speed manual transmission, while the A 250 4MATIC, with a seven-speed automatic, retails for 39,525.

As Mercedes usually does when a new car model is launched, an Edition 1 trim will be made available for the first year of production, for an extra 7,021 euros. The package will bring copper color highlights on the exterior and in the interior, 19-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheel and LED headlamps, among other things.

On top of Edition 1, the A-Class can be ordered with one of three equipment lines: Style, Progressive and AMG Line. Each can be paired with additional interior enhancements from the Leather or Night packages.

After debuting the new cockpit technology suite it calls Mercedes-Benz User Experience on the hatchback version of the A-Class, the Germans will be expanding the tech's reach to the sedan version as well.

MBUX presents itself as a combination between a touchscreen, a touchpad and the Touch-Control Buttons in the steering wheel, all coordinated by artificial intelligence. MBUX marks the carmaker's departure from the aging COMAND system still in use on most of its models.

The full list of equipment packages for the A-Class sedan can be found in the document attached below.
