Even though SUVs are supposedly taking over, Ford Europe still loves its Focus Estate, and you can't tell that from the amount of effort they put into this new generation. Of course, no car is perfect, but this one can easily be described as "way better than before."
Even though we spent some time with the station wagon over a month ago, something compelled us to share these videos. That something could easily be the ST-Line body kit, or the leaps made in the interior department.

As all of you are probably aware, the Focus is still the best handling compact car, and this has carried over from the hatchback to this more spacious wagon. However, we also believe that the Focus Estate ST-Line is the best looking model of its kind.

Let's make a quick rundown of all its rivals. First, there's the ever-popular VW Golf, which is no beauty. Its sister cars, the Leon ST and Octavia Combi, are also starting to show their age. The French have the Megane Sport Tourer, which is excellent in GT form but lacks character otherwise. Also, the Peugeot 308 SW is just... no.

The only model that can hold a candle to the Focus is a Kia, the ProCeed GT, but that's technically not a wagon. Of course, the ST-Line's looks will be carried over to the real Focus ST which should have a 190 horsepower diesel version. So take that all you TDI fans!

The interior was where the older model felt most inferior to its rivals. And in this regard, we're happy to report that they've made room for a much larger, more flexible trunk, which you can check out in the walkaround. Also, the dashboard is much cleaner, less cluttered. But you should stay away from the Vignale trim level because it costs a pretty penny and doesn't deliver on its luxury promises.
