2019 BMW X5 With AC Schnitzer Body Kit Looks Like a Beast

Do you know how they say a hot supermodel looks good even wearing a garbage bag? Well, the G05 BMW X5 must be the supermodel of the SUV world, because this model with AC Schnitzer tuning bits is way more attractive than your Porsche Cayenne and especially the Mercedes GLE-Class.

Now, we're not saying that AC Schnitzer is in the business of making garbage bags, but you have to admit their body kits aren't for everybody. Most of the time, their star-shaped wheels don't work with anything, but here, it's like looking at the local mafia boss' new ride - you don't want to mess with it. We'd even go as far as to say it's about as good as the upcoming X5 M.

The package only works if you've bought the M Sport optional package, but also applies to the popular M50d. The X5 grabs your attention by means of its provocative new front air spoiler, joined by mild fender flares, side skirts, a diffuser and a trunk lid wing. The bit we'd skip is the double vents for the hood - that's so last decade.

The tuner hasn't got any engine mods available yet, but did say it was working with the M50i and xDrive30d at this moment. With the M850i Coupe, which has the same 4.4-liter V8, they were able to extract 620 HP and 840 Nm (619 lb-ft), 90 HP and 90 Nm (66 lb-ft) more than stock.

Normally, we don't get excited over air suspension, but it seems the standard-fit air suspension was swapped out for coilovers. This not only lowers the car by 20mm at the front and 25mm at the back but also makes it more planted in the corners.

Filling up those massive arches, the tuner installed a variety of 22-inch wheels with 315/30 R22 rear tires and some 12mm spacers. Available rim designs include AC1 Racing Forged Rims, AC1 Light Alloy Wheels, Type V Lightweight Forged Rims, and Type VIII Racing Forged Wheels.
