Similarly to the highs and lows of Saleen, Steeda is a different entity today from what the Pompano Beach, Florida-based company used to stand for the ‘90s and 2000s. Despite everything, the Mustang tuner has come up with some interesting mods for the model year 2018 of the pony car, which isn’t even in production yet.
Working in close collaboration with Ford ever since the 2018 Mustang went official at the beginning of the year, Steeda offers expecting customers a vast line of upgrades to choose from. The main image is only a sneak peek of what’s in store for the refreshed pony, and the exterior chances are obvious.

First and foremost, Steeda makes a case for the Mustang GT and its revised Coyote V8. The 5.0-liter tower-of-power is better in every way thanks to dual-fuel injection, offering 460 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque out of the box. This change translates to an oil capacity of 10 quarts, and a great potential from Steeda’s part for “more power" and "improved drivability.”

Ford re-engineered the Mustang for 2018 to accommodate the MagneRide adaptive dampers from the GT350 and GT350R. Available as an option, the damping system can be furthered by the Steeda with “new suspension components” for both the EcoBoost and GT kitted with the Performance Pack.

About the splitter fitted to the demo Q-Series Mustang in the featured photo, well, good luck getting into any driveway with that thing sticking out the front. It sure looks good, though, giving the 2018 Ford Mustang a racecar-like feel to it. The black hood over the orange-painted body also looks the part, contrasting nicely with the black side skirts, wheels, and rear wing.

Of course, stopping power is also on the menu, with Steeda offering slotted and drilled sets of Brembo goodness. Cooling is another highlight worth mentioning, the product list consisting of EcoBoost and GT oil cooler kits.
