No Sunday can be called "ordinary" at the Lamborghini factory over in Sant'Agata Bolognese, but today is particularly spicy for the Raging Bull, as the carmaker is one day away from introducing the latest evolution of the Aventador breed.
As we found out from yet another teaser Lamborghini dropped on Friday, the new V12 animal will be revealed tomorrow, December 19th.
We'll use this occasion to remind you that Lamborghini having filed a trademark for the Aventador S designation, a move that surfaced last month, means the newcomer should get this badge (you can see the logo in the image gallery to your right).
And what's the best way to take the anticipation level even further if not allowing a prototype to be spied during the weekend before the reveal?
As you can see in these photos, which come from Magazin ProDriver CZ, the test vehicle shows visual elements borrowed from the Aventador Superveloce, such as the wheel design, as well as the extra air intakes sitting above the rear wheels.
While the massive fixed wing of the SV is missing, the camouflage on the prototype means we'll have to wait until tomorow to discover the bodykit changes for the front and rear apron, as well as for the side area of the supercar.
The greatest mystery of the Aventador S, however, is well hidden underneath its sculpted engine cover.
With the Italian carmaker's previous teaser, which we've added at the bottom of the page, talking about the next step in the history of the company's V12, the rumor mill has gone wild. We've noticed forum chat going from twin-turbo frenzy to hybrid assistance rumors, with the latter being fueled by the gas-electric Lamborghini Asterion concept car we met back in 2014. Guess we'll have a pretty special Monday...
