After numerous "unofficial" pictures and specifications, the Moab Edition has come out of the bag. Based on the Wrangler Unlimited, this fellow won’t come cheap.
Jeep didn’t offer the pricing alongside with these pictures of the Moab Edition, but the JL Wrangler Forums came upon the MSRP. At $51,200 not including the $1,495 destination charge, it’s one of the most expensive Wrangler configurations out there. But on the upside, it also happens to bristle with equipment.

On the mechanical side of the deal, the Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case does its best off the beaten path along with the Trac-Lok limited-slip differential at the rear and 32-inch mud-terrain tires wrapped around 17-inch wheels. Finished in Low-Gloss Black, the wheels match the steel bumpers, MOAB decals, and Jeep badging on the front fenders.

Off-road rock rails described as “premium” are also standard, to which Jeep adds leather-trimmed seats, dashboard, and contrast stitching. Blind-spot monitoring, Rear Cross Path Detection, ParkSense with reverse stop, ParkView backup camera, and 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment with satellite navigation are also included. Last, but certainly not least, the list of standard equipment is rounded off by LED lighting, all-weather slush mats, and a nine-speaker Alpine premium sound system with SiriusXM satellite radio.

Customers can pick one of nine available colors. In no particular order, these are Firecracker Red, Ocean Blue Metallic, Sting Gray, Black, Bright White, Mojito!, Punk’n Metallic, Billet Silver, and Granite Crystal. As for top options, the body-color hard top can be swapped for the Dual Top Group or Sky One-Touch power top at an additional cost.

Based on the Wrangler Unlimited Sahara, the Wrangler Moab Edition definitely looks the part, inside and out. But for those who plan on getting down and dirty with this fellow here, the Trailer Tow and Trail Rail options should be on your shortlist. As for people living in colder regions of the U.S., the Cold Weather Group adds heating in the steering wheel and front seats, as well as remote start.
