2018 Ford Mustang GT Drag Races Camaro Z28 Sleeper, Photo Finish Needed

We've brought along a piece of footage that demonstrates this, but there's something we need to mention about this particular pony. You see, the owner of the 'Stang decided to take full advantage of the muscle car's potential, thus fitting the machine with a couple of mods.

And while the Coyote motor of the thing has maintained its naturally aspirated form, the 5.0-liter V8 now packs goodies like an E85 setup and a decatted exhaust.

To put the power down, the machine, which comes in ten-speed auto form, uses the same kind of Nitto rubber as found on the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.

For the adventure that brought us here, the Ford duked it out with a Chevrolet Camaro. However, we're talking about an older incarnation of the machine.

We're referring to a fourth-generation Camaro Z28, which has been taken down the aftermarket path - the V8 heart of the thing has been boosted using a Vortech setup.

Perhaps the best bit about this Camaro is its beater look, which turns the thing into an absolute sleeper.

Now, those of you who are tuned into our drag racing tales might be familiar to this 'Stang. And that's because we've shown you the muscle beast doing its sprinting thing on multiple occasions.

For instance, here's the pony duking it out with a Dodge Demon at the drag strip and fighting a 2018 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Widebody for the fun of it.
