The owner of this 'Stang recently decided to go all out and drag race a Dodge Demon, all with a twist.
To be more precise, this Mopar machine was put into 500 horsepower mode for the race. As for the pony, the Blue Oval machine has been gifted with goodies like an E85 setup. And, to help the massaged Coyote put the power down, the machine packs the same Nitto drag radials as the Demon.
Once this oddball race took place, the aficionado behind the wheel of the Demon also wanted to see what happens when the full potential of the car is unlocked. So yes, the two also raced with the Demon in 808 hp mode (we're not 100 percent sure if the tank had been filled with race gas, which would've allowed the blown 6.2-liter HEMI to deliver 840 horses).
Fortunately, the slabs of America skipped the dangerous street racing scene, taking things to the track. Speaking of which, here's a Dodge Challenger Hellcat whose driver didn't follow this path, going all the way to 198 mph on the street and filming himself in the process. Unsurprisingly, the man ended up in the hands of the police after the footage reached the officer.
