Unveiled in 2016, the Ducati XDiavel managed to fusion together two worlds: the American cruiser world of low speeds, relaxed riding position, and long trips, with the world of luxury and style only Ducati can provide. And now, there’s a new updated 2018 version coming out.
As you might have already heard, Ducati will be part of the 20th edition of the biggest European Custom and Cruiser event taking place between 5 - 10 September at Faaker See, Austria. And it’s there where the 2018 XDiavel will shine for the first time.

And when we say “shine” we really mean it as the model comes in a special new Iceberg White color. It’s something you don’t usually see on a machine like this which was associated with the devil until now and was only available in sober colors. But bringing a bit of a luxury look to the XDiavel will most probably gather more clients.

The engine remains the same Ducati Testastretta DVT L-twin turning gasoline into 152 horsepower and 93 lb-ft (126 Nm) of torque to play around, all raging with fury through that superb stainless steel double side exhaust.

All these ponies are controlled via standard features like riding modes, Ducati Safety Pack (Bosch cornering ABS + DCT), DPL (Ducati Power Launch), RbW, and cruise control. Other standard features include full-LED lighting and backlit handlebar switches.

Looking at the beast in the pictures seems that every other element stays the same for 2018, but Ducati says the new power cruiser still packs an ace up its sleeve, and that comes in the shape of an upgraded suspension setup to improve comfort for rider and passenger.

Ducati will also be bringing the “XDiavel Experience” to Faker See. Since leaving Peterborough, England, the XDiavel Experience truck - set up to give a taste of the XDiavel lifestyle - has been touring throughout Europe, letting people get to know and road-test the new Ducati cruiser in a way that is as original as it is direct.

At Faaker See there will be 20 XDiavels available: to take a test-ride just make a booking at the Ducati XDiavel Truck at the event itself.
